The Behr Color of the Year for 2024 is Cracked Pepper, a modern, soft black. “Modern yet cozy” is the way Sarah Fishburne, The Home Depot’s director of trend & design, describes the hue. “Cracked Pepper truly is a grounding color,” she explains.
This versatile shade works anywhere—seriously. Use Cracked Pepper to spruce up bland kitchen cabinets, your front door, a dining room wall or an entire powder room. Plus, it can be used in both the interior and on the exterior (I’m swooning thinking of an entire house painted in Cracked Pepper).
